27’ Pre Rig Truss Circle

The 27’ Pre Rig Truss Circle is a series of twelve 30° sections assembled together to facilitate a variety of lighting fixtures and equipment. I utilized Autodesk Inventor to design the truss section, create fabrication drawings, and material cut lists for this build. The Pre Rig Truss Circle is fabricated from Aluminum Schedule 40 Pipe and fastened together using male/female connector lugs as guided by the Senior Design Engineer. The 27’ Pre Rig Truss Circle is an upscaled version of a prior 24’ Pre Rig Truss Circle design.

DJ Stage Deck Frames

The DJ Stage Deck Frame was a subassembly of a full DJ Stage Set. The deck frames were conceptualized using Vectorworks by the Senior Design Engineer. I referenced this design and utilized Autodesk Inventor to 3D model, create fabrication drawings, and material cut lists for this build. The deck frames were designed to allow for mounting various sizes of video panels. The Outer Frame was constructed using 2" x 2” Aluminum Tubing and the Center Pillars were constructed using 2” x 3” Aluminum Tubing. Toolpathing for the individual components were CNC programmed utilizing Autodesk Inventor CAM.

Video Moon Stage CNC Wood Jig

A semicircular wood jig was created by CNC routing four individual wood “puzzle” pieces. This wood jig provided a guide for the fabricators to weld short tubes to combine the structural components together. Toolpathing for the individual components were CNC programmed utilizing Autodesk Inventor CAM.

Sliding Video Wall

This Video Wall consists of a Connecting Guide Rail System and Capture Assembly that allows the video panels to slide vertically. The Guide Rails and Capture Assembly are fabricated from UHMW plastic material for its self-lubricating properties that allow the rails to slide smoothly. The male and female guide rails are assembled in 2-3-4 and 4-3-2 video panel configurations to allow the rails to overlap when sliding. The capture assembly was designed to restrain the guide rails to a linear motion and to prevent derailing. I utilized Autodesk Inventor to 3D model, create fabrication drawings, and material cut lists for this build. Toolpathing for the individual components were CNC programmed utilizing Autodesk Inventor CAM.
